It must be obvious that in the beauty/entertainment industry gossip, jealousy and rumors are such a big part of this lifestyle. Especially when you become a household name or in the public eye. The unfair part of it, and I can only speak from my own experiences is that people will talk regardless and everyone is entitled to give their opinion, I give mine when I am asked but I would only speak facts and not fabricate anything because I don’t believe in the make believe.
I was involved in a friendship 3 or 4 years ago and had to end it because of dishonesty and for me, it don’t matter what a person can say after you remove them from your life because the main thing is to remove that toxic energy because it’s not healthy for your life. Even if this person went on to lie about the situation because this person could not be honest with the issue so a story was fabricated to make this person look better. So a rumor was born, gossip continued and how do I deal with it?
1. I don’t deal with it, that belongs to them. People can create whatever they want for their lives. I just prefer for mine to be real, inspiring and honest, period.
2. I actually feel sorry for people who are not able to be honest. And maybe if they look at their lives and around it everything is still the same, the colors are dull and they lake amazing friendships.
I wish everyone the best and always look for the best in each person, but it is never my responsibility to fix someone or try to change them.
Most of the time, rumors come from jealousy and don’t ever feel you have to fix it. Because you can’t. Let it go, it is better to be disliked by people who are dark, evil and selfish than to be loved by them.
Life is great, if you just allow it to be!
Good luck!
